Rock Band 2 is coming to the PS3 and Wii on November 17th, almost two months after the Xbox 360 release according a retailers.
Gamestop is listing the PS3, PS2, and Wii release dates for the game only and bundle as November 17th. The Xbox 360 will see the game only on September 30th and the bundle on October 30th. For the record, Guitar Hero: World Tour is shipping everything on October 26th.
Will this hurt Harmonix to not have any bundled releases out before Guitar Hero: World Tour ships? And will a month delay for all systems other than Xbox 360 hurt sales? Time will tell, but I’m expecting that they will lose a decent amount of Holiday 2008 customers to Guitar Hero. Either way, they’re still going to be out before Black Friday for all systems.
360 getting an edge on this one. Im getting screwed since i have the PS3 version, mofos!
That’s not too bad of a wait. I already have Rock Band for 360, so my sequel choice has already been made for me.
