There have been quite a few mods on Guitar Hero and Rock Band gear, but this one is pretty functional. This kid took his Rock Band guitar, opened it up and re-wired it so that Star Power can be activated via a Stompbox instead of having to lift he guitar up in the air.
I have to say this sounds a bit over the top, but is pretty cool since occasionally if you are sitting and happen to move the guitar slightly the Overdrive will just trigger itself or in the case of my second guitar that I have, it’s gimped and never recognizes holding it upright.

Yea seriously to tell you the truth in my “game room” I try to hide as much shit as possible. Before a school dance my friend and I both had our dates over (not going to go into details of what happened lol) but I made sure to hide everything.
I pretty much threw all of my games into the shelf, took all of my artwork books and everything down and took down all of my original consoles that I have set up (NES, Genesis w/ CD, PSX, PSOne, PS2)
So with this box, does it disable the sensor in the guitar? I can’t play Rock Band sitting down because the damn guitar goes off prematurely.

EZ! what i have done to mine: skin (ez) strummer mod from bytearts.com, mercury tilt sensors instead of those crappy ball bearign ones that come in it! so that overdrive always engages when i want, overdrive LED on guitar to i know if i am sitting wrong or something & i dont engage overdrive on accident! Weights inside the guitar for better balance & feel, epoxy inside of back so it didn’t sound hollow! weight in head help with balance! tryign to figure if i want to ass a button to engage overdrive so i dont have to tilt, but you can alwayse hit the “back” button, it does the same thing! (i tend to hit the start button sometimes & people wanna KILL me!)
