As if you needed anymore reason to buy this game, here is a look at all the teasers and trailers that have led us up to this moment. Next Tuesday, it is on like it has never been on before. See you there.
I know, I know. A movie based on a video game. How can this possibly not turn into another Uwe Boll disaster? Well, a few reasons. First, it’s a Disney film. That doesn’t mean it is juvenile because Disney did all of the Pirates of the Caribbean films. They were really, really good. (except the third one). Second, the visuals look tremendous. Low budget, this is not. Third, it is a story 98% of the people in the world know nothing about, so they have to tell it from square one. This could be a great film. It could also be Max Payne 2.0. Watch and ponder.
Eidos dropped us a line with the new Just Cause 2 trailer “No Ordinary Mission”. Nothings more fun than maxing out explosions, parachutes, grappling hooks, and Latino accents. It’s like being the Ricky Iglesias of insurgents. Enjoy.
2K released a new single player trailer for BioShock 2, showing off the Siren Alley portion of the game. I’ll freely admit that this game completely dropped out of my mind after slipping to early 2010. With huge released like Uncharted 2, Modern Warfare 2, and Assassin’s Creed 2, the BioShock sequel had to take a back seat. Thankfully this trailer makes me remember why I enjoy Rapture.
Activision sent over a new trailer for Blur, showcasing the various power-ups you can snag while racing. The game looks like a a combination of a solid arcade racer and Mario Kart, which isn’t a bad thing. Who doesn’t like blowing shit up?
Rockstar unveiled yet another new trailer for GTA IV: Episodes from Liberty City today. While I think The Ballad of Gay Tony is going to be a great DLC pack, I fear that it might get lost in the shuffle of the busy Holiday season. Then again, it is Grand Theft Auto, so I could be completely wrong.
One of the coolest things GT does is the Pop-Up Trailers series. They essentially break everything down that we probably missed the first time we saw a great trailer, most likely because we were making sure our gaming induced boner was properly tucked. Here is the new CoD:MW2 trailer that you saw here yesterday, this time with pop-ups!
Are you excited yet? If you’re not, you probably came to this site by accident. Just in case you were trolling for porn, here is a trailer for a little game called CoD: Modern Warfare 2. It is going to change the way you feel about things.
Did you ever wonder how they made that awesome ODST live action trailer? I did. My questions have been answered. Watch and check out just how much work went into the process and how it was very worth it. I don’t know if they have awards for Trailer of the Year, but if they do, I am nominating it now.
As if you needed anymore reasons to be excited for the sequel to the smash hit Assassin’s Creed II. If you remember correctly, critics were none to kind to the game in the advanced reviews, but as people played it more and more, it sort of grew on you. The story threw us for a huge twist, but now we know what to expect and expect some stealth action and swan diving coming your way Nov. 17.
