Some big moves this week in the charts. Halo 3 falls back to number 2. Madden 2009 makes an appearance as does Fable Pub Games. NCAA 2009has fallen out as mostly everyone is getting their football fix elsewhere. Too Human might show up next week but judging by the mixed reviews, its anyone’s guess.

Halo 3 remains on top yet again. With the promising of huge changes come this September in matchmaking, I can’t see anything overtaking it. Soul Cal IV is a new comer along with the Madden demo. Expect Madden 2009 to make a huge splash next week when the new data comes in. Nice to see an XBLA title in their as well. Maybe Bionic Commando: Rearmed will join it.

We recently heard the release date for the much anticipated Fable 2 title and now we get a look at the achievements as well. Some of these achievements are pretty interesting and range from achieving full evilness, having a child, teaching your dog a trick and even participating in an orgy?! Aside from the orgy gamerscore there is also some points to be attained for playing some coop with friends.

Reach 100% Good or Evil.
The New Hero -50g
Defeat your first great opponent.
The Whippersnapper -25g
Collect 5 gold pieces during the Hero’s childhood
the Pooch Pamperer -5g
Play fetch with your dog.
The Archaeologist -5g

teach your dog a trick.

No real changes this week. Halo 3 still holds the top spot. Too Human and BC swapped spots and NCAA Football 08 knocked FIFA 08out. Look for Madden to make a huge splash in the coming weeks.

Everyone has played Geometry Wars either for the XBLA or as part of Project Gotham Racing, but one thing you haven’t done is play with a buddy over Xbox Live. In Geometry Wars 2 you can now have multiplayer buddies with friends and let me say that it looks fast paced and fun. Check it out.
The reign is over. Halo 3 is back on top. Maybe it was E3. Maybe it was Bungie’s rumored announcement, which we are still waiting for. Either way, Halo 3 is your top game on Live this week. Gears of War moved up and the Too Human Demo overtook Bad Company, whose demo has finally faded out.

This starts out slow, but picks up quite nicely. If you have ever been on Xbox Live and been frustrated with some of the comments check out this Ventrilo user and relate to the amount of stupidity and frustration. I am curious if this girl kisses her mother with that mouth, listen to her go completely nuts and argue with Duke Nukem, she drops the F bomb repeatedly and then loses it completely. Balls of Steel FTW!
Lot of action this week on the charts. Bad Company moved higher up the top 10 as expected. Soul Caliber has also made its way into the mix. The Bad Company demo is still here which means there are still plenty of people who seem to be fine with the free version or at least not going to buy it until more is offered in the full game. Dropping out is FIFA 08.

Not too much as changed in the top 3. However, the BC demo is still being played more than the full size game as of last week. This means either people haven’t bought the game yet, or are satisified with the rather satisfying demo. I’m guessing the full game will move up some, but its going suck for EA if people are content playing a free version of a game they have spent a ton of money on developing.

In a move to fire up gamers for the 4th of July weekend Activision is releasing a free downloadable track for Guitar Hero 3 on both the PSN and Xbox LIVE and it is the theme from Top Gun. I have to say this is a pretty cool freebie and a great song to play on the guitar, too bad it gets a bit repetitive towards the middle of the song.
This is one of the better DLC songs released especially because it’s free, it is right up there with the Halo song. Listening to this makes me want to go out and do Mach 3 in a fighter plane and eject my co-pilot and break his neck, poor Goose.
If you don’t know what the song sounds like, shame on you! After listening to the cuts from Top Gun I think GH should make a Top Gun themed game, screw Aerosmith! Here it is:
