Who doesn’t want to see over five minutes of Rage in-game footage? No hands? Good, because that’s what I thought.
id Software, the makers behind the upcoming first-person shooter Rage, is following in the footsteps of other game companies to come out here recently by slowly trickling out little “episodes” of gameplay footage to drag us along until the release date. Rage doesn’t release until September of this year sometime, so we’ll have a dreadfully long few months in there of these teases before we get our hands on the game. From what we see from this video, the game looks incredible.
At QuakeCon 2010 last year, Rage was shown off during one of the event’s many conferences on all three current next-gen consoles (360, PS3, and PC), with each version looking identical to the next. The frame rate was solid across the board, graphical detail was on point for all systems, and of course the gameplay was the same. With so many years under the hood of Rage, we wouldn’t expect anything less. Well, we didn’t think Rage would look THIS good.
