Another contest is coming at you from your friends at Loot Ninja. We’re giving away three PS3 games in this contest. Yes, that’s right, three games together! The games are: Heavenly Sword, Lair, and NBA 08. We want to thank Sony for sponsoring this contest by providing the prizes!

To enter, all you have to do is leave a comment in this post stating your current favorite feature of the PS3 and what they’d like to see most out of the PS3 in the future. This is limited to things achievable with a firmware update only, not “more games” or anything hardware related.

The contest ends at 11:59pm EST on Wednesday November 7th. That gives you a full 4 weeks to enter. Only one entry per person per day is allowed, and a winner will be chosen at random after the contest is finished.

I’m only going to say this once (yeah, I’m sure that’s not gonna work…).

If you “spam” to get more comments to try to win the monthly top commentator contest, we will manually decrease your comment score and you will become ineligible for that month. This includes commenting “sweet” or “cool” or something to that effect, or dropping multiple comments on a post that aren’t meaningful. We’ve received a couple complaints already about this happening.

Granted, I understand short but sweet comments are called for in some occasions, and I’m not discouraging those. But when we start seeing them on every post, flags get thrown up very quickly.

I figured I’d throw this out there early in the month so those that are trying to “cheat the system” can change their habits. If you have any questions, send us an email through the contact form.

It’s been a little while since our last contest, and we decided they should be ongoing around here. So today, we’re introducing our Monthly Top Commentator Contest.

You’ve probably noticed the Top Commentator section in our sidebar for a little while now, and it’s now being put to good use. The person who submits the most comments every month will win a prize from our piles of swag and games. Some months will be the top person, some months will be the top three. We’ll let you know during the first week of the month. The prizes will be determined every month and could range from a key chain to a gaming console (yes, you read that right). Some months we’ll tell you beforehand, others will be a complete surprise until we send it out to you.

The rules are pretty simple here…. comment on articles on the site. If you start spamming to boost your score, we’ll notice and knock your score down. Otherwise, the sky’s the limit.

We’ll be starting in September with the contest and will let you know next week what the prizes will be.

In the upcoming RPG for PS3 Folklore, Sony has announced that they will be allowing gamers to create and submit their own mythological beings for approval.
