The Mass Effect series is one of the greatest shooter-RPG franchises of the last couple of years. With the upcoming release of Mass Effect 2 on the PS3 in January, BioWare has started releasing details about the game to the press to gain buzz. Little did we know, they would start a fanboy war.

If there was one takeaway from the L.A. Noire debut trailer, it was the amazing facial animations and voiceovers. The realism in the faces, emotions and speech were top notch and something we’ve rarely seen in video games. Want to know how it was done? Rockstar wants you to know. Every once in awhile we come across a video that has so much creativity and love put into it, we HAVE to feature it here on Loot Ninja. This was the case for this adapted video from GTA IV featuring the Super Mario Bros., Toad, Yoshi, Goombas and the much hated Bowser. Also included is the lovable Peach, who is what looks to be an asian prostitute.
Hell, it’s definitely better than that piece of shit Leonardo DiCaprico movie when they adapted (I call it raped) Shakespeare with guns……

The best baseball game on the planet is finally getting the best baseball controls on the planet. MLB 11: The Show will now have full analog controls for everything: fielding, pitching, and most importantly hitting. I’m sure there are some tweaks to work out but with months away from a playable demo, I am looking forward to playing this with the right control scheme. Next step is to start a franchise and banish Cliff Lee to Single A because he is a jerkoff hick who can’t handle the big stage.
How many times over the past year have you wished you were Jimmy Fallon? He got to play Kinect a long time before you and now he’s getting hands on time with Uncharted 3 just days after the announcement. Feast your eyes on the first ever full gameplay footage of the game. Yeah, I want it now. NOW!
Plenty of new trailers were revealed at the VGA’s this past Saturday. Some were great, some were just ok. But three trailers stood out to us as clearly awesome: Uncharted 3, Batman: Arkham City and Mass Effect 3. All three games look like they’re going to destroy the world next November. Yeah, it’s time to start saving money for Holiday 2011 already. In case you missed the trailers or just want to watch them over and over, check them all out here.
Here’s a great video from the guys over at Corridor Digital on Youtube. They do an awesome job with the video, and show what video game cheats would look like if we had them in real life. Let me tell you: I want some. I’m not going to step on the punchline and mention which one, but the cheat to get the final kill is flat out epic and would definitely be the first thing I would want if we could ever have cheats for real!

I love being able to wake you guys up on a Friday morning with stuff like this. It’s Dead Space, it’s going to be bigger, badder, and more in your face than the first installment. Definitely looks more action-packed, scrambling, I have no idea what I’m supposed to do type game instead of the slow, creep you out in your dreams first game.
