What Are You Playing? (Real Life Mario and Luigi Edition)

Looks like great plumbing duo of Mario and Luigi have indeed advanced into the the 21st Century with their fancy schmancy cell phones.

It’s our weekly musing into the busy lives of our very loyal Loot Ninja readers and fans. For most of the working folk out there it’s the end of another shitty work week, for us gamers our week is just getting started (glorious weekend gaming time). We here at Loot Ninja want you all to sound off here on all of the great games you’re playing at the moment. Did you just get a new game wrapped in cellophane (*cough* Dead Space 2)? Are you in the middle of something (Black Ops or Reach multiplayer)? Or are you trying to finish off one game and start on your next great adventure? We want to know!

After Matt posted about the greatness that was Mass Effect for the PS3, I decided I needed to boot up and start up Mass Effect 1 on the 360. I’ve never played the original at all, so it’s crazy to see just how big and epic a scale this game is going to be. I’ve even gone out and seen how long it will take me to complete (never do that). I’m hearing the consensus is about 25 or 30 hours if you want to do all the missions and not read the Codex. 40 or more if you want to do everything, talk to everyone, and are a “completionist” gamer. I fall in the middle of those two. Sadly that’s about it for me. I’m still enjoying the new 55 inch TV I talked about on this week’s Twisted Gamer Radio. Still in that “testing out” phase where you want to just see what this movie or this game looks like.
