Nintendo 3DS Coming March 27 for $249.99 in North America

Wonder no more, friends - the Nintendo 3DS will be available in North America on March 27th for the not so low price of $249.99. Yes, it costs more than a Wii. Initially it’ll ship in two colors, Aqua Blue and Cosmo Black, and will include a 2GB SD card and its own charging cradle so the system can stay on all the time.

People line up in droves to buy new Nintendo handhelds, so you can bet this puppy will sell out everywhere. And being the first major consumer electronics product to feature glasses-free 3D, people will be even more excited.

While I would love to sit here and tell you I’m not getting one, there’s little doubt that Nintendo will tug at my heart-strings once again and I’ll be shelling out money to buy their latest lovely baby. Don’t act like you aren’t going to do the same. Liars.

I was jealous of my girlfriends DSi, so now I’ll get the upperhand as I play through games in 3D! Shit yeah!

Haha - I’m going to try to sell my DSi now before the 3DS gets released.

Nope, it does look dope but not shelling out that kind of dough. Maybe I’ll get one when the price goes down, or not!

I agree. Looks awesome but some reviews of some of the games don’t sound that great. So definately gonna keep my eye on it. Never had a DS. If I do get one though I hope people on the bus don’t think I’m 12 years old
