May 3, 2011 - a day that will live in infamy. A day with an event we never thought would happen. A day that Duke Nukem makes his long awaited return to our hearts and minds. Announced this morning, Duke Nukem Forever will drop for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on May 3, 2011 in North America and May 6, 2011 internationally.
Christoph Hartmann, president of 2K, had this to say in a stement on the matter: “May 3, 2011 marks Duke’s return as he unleashes his brash and brutally honest wit on the world. His return is going to be epic and one that will make video gaming history!”
Hide your boners, but pack your wallets. It’s been a long time coming, but Duke is back. Every gamer should be required to buy this game, both to show support for Gearbox Software for taking over the project and to show our love for Duke Nukem. I’m certainly going to preorder this bad boy. Oh yeah, and the trailer is fucking awesome. Watch it twice. Or more.
