We all know Dead Rising 2 is coming. Capcom has already stated that much. When it’s coming and for what systems are still a mystery, as is how the gameplay will evolve.
Our friends over at The Gaming Life got some inside info about the game, which may see a teaser trailer at this year’s E3″
“The environments for Dead Rising 2 look absolutely beautiful. They put a lot of effort and work into them. The zombies had not been added into the game yet, but the area looked even bigger then the original mall. The setting for it looks a lot like Las Vegas except somehow you are trapped only in a small section of the city with about 4 or 5 casinos, some restaurants, shopping areas and a lot of stores altogether. It looked very much like the strip in Las Vegas, but they didn’t show a whole lot to make an accurate portrayal. That an I know Resident Evil: Apocalypse is set there so I am unsure if they would go this route. All I can say for sure is that the setting was much bigger then the small town mall.”
They also had a bit to say about possibly multiplayer modes in the sequel:
“Finally this game will have some aspect of multiplayer where users will be able to play a survivor and try to tough it out online with at least 4 players. With the first one Capcom knew that gamers wanted a multiplayer zombie game. However did not have the time to make it happen. This game they are listening to the gamer through the survey that was taken a while back.”
Trying to survive with a group of friends sounds pretty damn cool to me. Sign me up.
thats all bullshit, MRK sued capcom for infringement on "Dawn of the Dead", if there is going to be a dead rising 2 Capcom wont be able to create it.
if your goin to make it multiplayer make it off line and online itll be alot better
i sooooooooo want dead rising to be multiplayer, but ive read other online forums and its been a mistake i hear its not
if it isnt multiplayer, that willl be a load of bullshit its dr2 MAKE IT MULTIPLAYER!
