EA is bringing the rebooted NBA Jam to the iPhone. While we really enjoyed the console edition on Wii and PS3, the iPhone looks like it might be the most played one once released. Sure, the game is a ton of fun, but it’s more for bite-sized gaming sessions than long extended times, which suits the iPhone perfectly.
A teaser of gameplay was shown off and it looks pretty badass. The controls and graphics are crisp and the announcer is there, keeping it all feel just like NBA Jam. TouchArcade is reporting that all 30 teams will be there, secret characters and unlockables will be present, and both quick play and campaign modes are included. Sounds like a plan to me.
Check out the teaser that EA dropped off. No release date was announced yet, but I’m fairly certain I’ll be buying this as soon as it’s released.
