With Duke Nukem Forever releasing next Tuesday and the Gearbox Community Day coming up tomorrow night (yes, I’ll be there all day to get info on Aliens: Colonial Marines, Duke, Brothers In Arms: Vicious 4, and Borderlands), I figured this picture is only fitting for What Are You Playing?
It’s our weekly musing into the busy lives of our very loyal Loot Ninja readers. For most of the shirt-and-tie working folk out there it’s the end of another shitty work week. For us gamers our week is just getting started (glorious weekend gaming time).
We want to give you the opportunity to sound off on all of the great games you’re playing at the moment. Did you just get a new game wrapped in cellophane? Are you in the middle of something right now – (still enjoying L.A. Noire and Dirt 3?) – or are you trying to finish off a title and start on your next great adventure? Loot Ninja wants to know!
With the PSN back online, I went back and finished the DLC cases I had and equipped my totally awesome suit that gives me added punching power! YES! (/sarcasm) Other than the two or so cases I’ve done, I’ve had to go back to the desks and complete all of the street missions, as well as try a few cases that I really did horrible on (one up to three stars). If I’ve got 4 or 5 stars (which I think I only have 1 - 5 starred case), I’m leaving it the fuck alone.
I probably won’t get a whole lot of gaming in, but if I do, I’ll choose Left 4 Dead 2. My buddies all of a sudden decided they wanted to do some “achievement whoring” and stage a bunch of the versus and team based achievements for us to get. One night of gaming and 9 achievements later, all 4 of us were set. I won’t get a lot of gaming in because I will be partying it up on Saturday all day with the Gearbox people getting all sorts of good trinkets on their games. Expect a recording or two in there as well as a few pics from the night showcasing all of the craziness.

I’m gonna be there too and I feel so excited as well. I just hope nothing bad happens to gearbox now that crtics have slammed duke nukem forever. I’m still going to get it regardless, I just hope that’s the same for everyone else.
Hopefully it doesn’t hurt their ego too bad. It seems like they weren’t trying to bring a triple A title. Like a new imagining of Duke or anything. It seems like they just wanted to put out not the most polished game but fun and feels like Duke.
As for my gaming weekend probably gonna start Dead Nation with a friend. I just finished Dead Space Extraction on the PS3 with a friend and I gotta say I enjoyed it. Especially for an on rails shooter. What an awesome bonus for buying Dead Space 2
