How jealous were you when you first saw the Crysis screens a few years back and your computer was nowhere near the minimum requirements to play the amazing looking game with the crazy physics engine? Yeah, us too. Now that Crysis 2 has been ported, how well we will soon see, the multiplayer only demo is now out on XBL. Expect it to be on the PSN tonight. The demo is a hefty 1.8GB but well worth the temporary space if you have room to spare. Crysis 2 drops on consoles on March 22 in North America and March 25th in the UK.

I’m going to grab this and Bulletstorm, but I’ll probably play the demos on PS3 when they get released on the PSN tonight.
Crysis 2 is an XBL only demo (will not be on PC/PSN. It’s a closed beta available to all XBL Gold members) There is a Free Gold weekend coming up this Friday if you don’t have a sub and want to get in on the action online.
Nobody (according to a few gaming podcasts) has even seen the PS3 version of crysis 2 since the behind closed doors tech demonstration a year or so ago at the German Gamescon. (raises some flags)
Heard the controls are laggy and unresponsive on the 360. I’ll try out the demo and see for myself. Hopefully, it’ something they can fix before release.
I played it at 4am this morning, I was big crysis and crysis warhead and crysis wars (online) fan.
Lag: not sure if it is any worse the MW2 or COD Block ops, since those both have a lot, both in network and frame rate.
Controls, it is learning curve.
I felt a little lost, in the game.
Enviroment is not very destructable, hope PC version is better. Bad company 2 is very nice in regards to enviroment.
Crysis Wars online I liked the vehicles the scale. I can get close quarters combat anywhere.
this game is what call of duty SHOULD be. maybe not the super jumping and sci-fi style kill streaks, but it’s a military style shooter where stuff actually fits a military theme, and when you see other people they don’t look like rag-dolls help in place with metal poles, they look like soldiers.
yay!
