Do you every wish you were a magical drill that could zoom through the air and crash into balloons, animals, landmines, and everything else from a bad acid trip dream? Well, if you do, call someone. More to the point, the Drill Plus is everything I mentioned above and really not all that much more.
The Drill Plus is the paid version of The Drill. When you buy the paid version, it is ad free. That is the essential difference. The game is very simple to play. Rock the screen back and forth to move the drill. It moves at a constant speed so you do not have to worry about forward motion. You cannot go through barriers such as walls and landmines, but if you swipe on the screen, the drill goes all invincible on that ass and can break through anything. That’s about it.
The game is very colorful and has decent in game music. As far as the gameplay, it is ultra simplified. The invincible drill mode takes about 2 seconds to recharge, so there is nothing stopping you from just going invincible as much as you want to avoid running into the obstacles that take your lives. It is a fun, mindless game that is free or under a buck for the paid version. It’s not a bad mass transit game as you have minimal controls. I would say play the free version and move to the paid if you get super hooked and hate ads.
