Questions For QuakeCon 2010? Ask ‘Em!

This is what the Hilton Anatole conference center in Dallas, TX looks like at the moment. Right now it doesn’t look like much, but very soon (starting Thursday) thousands of gamers will flock to fill those seats for the BYOC (Bring Your Own Computer) gaming competition for QuakeCon 2010. Loot Ninja will be on the scene both Friday and Saturday to take on the event this year, giving you all of the coverage on id Software and Bethesda’s upcoming games. Games like Fallout: New Vegas, Brink, Rage, and Hunted: Demon’s Forge. If you can’t find a game in there you are excited about, you aren’t a gamer. Oh, and I also hate you.

Anyway, we’re getting hands-on with ALL of those games (besides Rage) behind closed doors on media-only builds and we want to know what questions our Loot Ninja readers would like to know about any of these upcoming titles. Keep in mind that there is also the possibility of seeing Doom 4 announced so throw in some Doom questions as well.

Be sure to leave your questions in the comments section. I will take note of as many as I can fit in and relay them to the people you want to talk to but are stuck behind a computer all day reading our site. We’ll bring you those answers and I’ll even play snippets of the interview on Twisted Gamer Radio. Stay tuned as we continue to cover QuakeCon 2010!

Is it true that if I bring a laptop, I can’t bring a larger monitor to the HYPOC?

Is it true that if I bring a laptop I can’t bring a monitor? My laptop has a rockin CPU but only a 15″ screen. I would really like to bring a keyboard and monitor so that I can play on the big screen (23″).

  3. I’m pretty sure you’ll be fine there CableTVGuy. I’ve seen some gaming laptops in the BYOC setup and people just bring their monitors to set up shop. Shouldn’t be a deal at all!

No Rage? thats a bummer but I can’t wait to hear about Fallout New Vegas and possibly Hunted Demons Forge. I could always use another split screen co-op game.

Its not a question but I wanna hear if New Vegas feels like a new installation (i.e. they added alot of cool new things) or just a new level in Fallout 3.

  5. [...] 22nd, 2010. Loot Ninja will get good hands-on time with Fallout: New Vegas at the upcoming QuakeCon 2010, so this might be good interview material. Be sure to go on over to that post and submit your [...]
