My Wii is the most expensive piece of electronics in my house that never gets used. I’ll fire up the console for review games if needed, but otherwise, it sits there untouched for months on end. But after Nintendo’s media event in San Francisco yesterday, I’m truly excited for a couple games coming this Spring/Summer.
Super Mario Galaxy 2 is shipping May 23rd and Metroid: Other M is shipping June 27. Finally, games I want to play on my Wii. I don’t know about all of you, but in my eyes, there are potential Game of the Year candidates here with these two titles.
I’ll be sure to charge up my Wii remotes, finally, come mid May. I haven’t had enough waggle in my life the past few months, anyway.

I’m excited for these plus Monster Hunter that bundle with the classic pro controller is a sweet deal I’m actually pre-ordering to get the demo. Usually I don’t bother with Gamestop.
