I bought Plants vs. Zombies for my iPhone last night when I got home from work and immediately killed the next hour playing through part of the Adventure mode. After spending countless hours playing the game on my Mac, I felt right at home. The touch controls fit the game even better than clicking with a mouse. While this isn’t my full review, know this: I believe the iPhone version to the the definitive version of Plants vs. Zombies.

So here’s the deal. If you have access to an iPhone or iPod Touch and you don’t buy this, we’re no longer friends. The game is that damn good. I honestly don’t think there will be a game this year that will be more fun for the platform. And it’s $2.99. Come on, that’s a absolute steal for what you’re getting. Buy it. Now. Be my friend.
