It’s no secret that I’m a baseball fanatic. When pitchers and catchers report, my whole world changes for the year. And then the baseball games come out, and my gaming world changes. This year, 2K promises major changes to the franchise that has been criticized by many, myself included. I’ll probably give it a rent but the static face rendering is hard to overlook. On the flip side, commentary is really good and, as far as I can tell, pitching seems entertaining. Also, stats! What baseball fan doesn’t love stat overload. At the very least it’ll give me something to do while watching the Padres suck it up for another season…
