Were you thinking of grabbing something else other than World of Warcraft? Tired of grinding in Azeroth? Well now is your chance to grab a ten day free trial of Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning. Mythic just announced the trial for new players and if you want to grab the Warhammer Online trial, you can click right here. Although ten days sounds great, I think it is kind of sucks since it takes so long for a player to really get engrossed into an MMORPG like this one or any of the other big titles. I vote for a month trial and then we will talk; what do you think?
Go grab the trial and get your Realm versus Realm action on!
Here’s the official press release:
FAIRFAX, Virginia – Mar 5, 2009 – Mythic Entertainment™, an Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: ERTS) studio, today announced that a new ten-day free trial is now available for the critically-acclaimed fantasy MMORPG, Warhammer® Online: Age of Reckoning® (WAR). Potential recruits to the armies of WAR are invited to spend ten action-packed days hunting Squigs, stomping Stunties, exploring massive capital cities, and battling opposing players in thrilling Realm vs. Realm™ combat.
“A call to arms has been issued! With the new free trial we are making it possible for everyone to experience non-stop Realm vs. Realm combat wrapped up in a next generation MMO,” said Mark Jacobs, VP and General Manager of Mythic Entertainment. “What started out as a great game has only gotten better as the team has added an incredible amount of content with our first live expansion. For gamers that have yet to experience the glory of WAR, there is no better time to join the battle!
Players that sign up for the 10-day free trial are eligible to participate in the current Bitter Rivals live event to unlock the soon-to-be-released Orc Choppa and Dwarf Slayer careers for head start play. To download the 10-day free trial, visit http://www.warhammeronline.com/trial.

If you can start off without having to grind or can start without a practically useless character then 10 days will be fine to explore. Maybe if you can level very quickly (less than a day) it might be worth 10 days.
If they make you start like any other MMO, with nothing, then I’m not interested unless its 30 days.
If you want to have fun with the trial do alot of scenarios and public quests
