Yesterday the Digital Life expo began at the Javtis Center in NYC. Aside from some of the major companies that were there (Microsoft, Dell, Gateway, Intel, Nokia, and Toshiba just to name a few) displaying new hardware and software there were a large number of other exhibitors displaying every peripheral and accessory for electronics and computers imaginable. They ranged from things like speakers, monitors, and wireless accessories to things like high-end gaming computers and a headset that you could wear that acts like a giant monitor that was being demoed with a 360.There were also a few areas for gaming. Guitar Hero III was there, which we already covered the other day at the launch event. The Lord of the Rings Online (an MMO they were showing that looked pretty cool) was also there. There was also a section with D&D and Magic type games. Dance Dance Revolution was there as well set up for people to play, and in the back there was a big section for the Extreme Gaming Tour. There were a couple of other gaming areas set up for people to play as well, however Nintendo and Sony weren’t there, and I didn’t see any XBOX stuff in the Microsoft section. NAMCO was there too…the NAMCO section was actually pretty awesome, rocking a Pac-Man theme, although they were showing cell phone games. Also, there was a pretty big section showcasing HD-DVDs.I got nothing else right now so enjoy some picturesI don’t know what it is, but Pac-Man is awesome. My friend here agrees.
This man is a consumate professional…I wish I could hire him to just stand infront of my house like this all dayMs. Pac-Man on the other hand….I don’t know why they bothered
The Lord of the Rings booth had people walking around dressed as hobbits
These guys were break dancing for a company called Ruckus Nation
And finally, this is unrelated to everything but I thought it looked pretty cool

Wow. Digital Life looks very entertaining. That brain does look weird though, but w/e. Looking at the pics, that LOTR:O box reminds me of playing it and getting to level 20
