This game looks impressive and looks to push the genre to a new level. Stranglehold is based off of and produced by John Woo, most famously known for MI: 2, Face Off, The Killer and Hard Boiled (both Hong Kong classics). The games main character is Cow Yun Phat as detective Tequila waging war on organized crime, come on they had me at hello!

The game looks ridiculous! Chow Yun Phat looks spot on with toothpick and all. Of course the trade mark dual wielding pistols is a must and the slow mo bullet time a staple. Most impressive is the environments and how they get torn apart during gun fights. You can actually use destroyed environments to hide behind or fore from. Aside from that there is also some interesting ways to carry out gun fights, one seen has the main character sliding down a banister, jumping down onto a cart and rolling across the room while shooting the shiet out of everything in sight! O yeah!

If they can add in a multi player aspect I think Midway has a hit for 2007. Midway already has my money.
