I don’t want to hear any more excuses that the PS3 is too expensive. Effective today, the PS3 will see a price reduction to $299 for the 80GB SKU. Yep, it’s finally here. That’s for all regions, so gamers everywhere can get a PS3 for a lot cheaper.
Head on out to whatever retailer you like best and grab a PS3 if you’ve been waiting for this moment to arrive. It’s worth every penny of the $300 price tag.

I tried to buy one on my lunchbreak. Target still has theirs priced at $499.99.
Might not be updated in their systems yet. I’d wait anyway and get the PS3 Slim in a couple weeks. I’m definitely buying one to semi-replace my launch 60GB PS3. I’m keeping that one for BC on PS2 games and as a dedicated Blu-Ray player for my living room.
Good idea…

Officially the best deal in gamin’, aside from the whole backwards compatibility thing.
Good thing I got my MGS4 bundle when I did!
