For the past couple of weeks or so, the “Next” Konami teaser site has been filled with countdown after countdown, followed by small tidbits of information at the end of each one. This past week the site teased us with the numbers and letters: E, 3, lower case ‘e’ (the symbol for snake), and the number 5. This led everyone to assume we’ll be hearing something about Snake and MGS 5 at E3 next week. Tonight’s big finish was finally worth the wait, as we’ve finally gotten the chance to see something with some actual substance or subsistence if you will (pun totally intended, to all you MGS fans out there). If you sit and wait for about 3 minutes into the rainstorm, you’ll be shown a picture with the same art styling and detail as found on the current U.S. MGS4 box cover. Judging from the facial structure and the way he’s aged, it’s definitely not Solid Snake! It is without a doubt Mr. Big Boss himself A.K.A. Naked Snake A.K.A. The Original Gangsta (I made that one up) from MGS3.

Maybe they’ll show what was going on with Big Boss, while Snake was out saving the world?! Knowing Hideo Kojima, and how his sick mind works it’s anyone’s guess. Oh and if that wasn’t enough, then there’s this magazine scan! (now I’m really thrown for a loop)

All I’m saying is that Hideo Kojima better be ready to anwer a lot of fucking questions at this years E3!
