Anyone who is an online FPS gamer, on consoles, will tell you that if you haven’t played Ghost Recon or Rainbow Six, you’re a douche. A serious douche. If they haven’t, then I’m calling you one. These are probably the two games that brought the term “modern warfare” realistically to the genre of war-based games. As a hardcore gamer, I definitely, on occasion, fix myself a bowl of ass-kicking and chew down both these games. But it’s time for new releases, and Ubisoft definitely has heard our cries of despair.
Ubisoft will soon reveal new installments in the critically acclaimed Tom Clancy tactical franchises Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six this year. Word on the street, according to CVG, is that both games will be announced by their publisher for a possible holiday release.
Whether or not both series will see a fresh start or a continuation from their previous installments is yet to be known. I, for one, am hoping that Rainbow Six pries away from the Vegas series and moves forward to something more dramatic. Maybe a Rainbow Six in DC, New York or even Darfur. The Ghost Recon series has always been awesome, but maybe it’s time for a climate change. Too much desert and I have already developed a phobia for sand.
I look forward to their releases. God knows I need a freakin’ break from Call of Duty 4 already. And yes, people, I know KillZone 2 is coming next month… no need to regurgitate it. Sheesh.

How about they just remake RSV2 with better graphics and GOOD framerates like COD4.
Honestly I would drop $40 for a re-done RSV2 that doesn’t run like crap because that was one of my favorite online shooters.

i loved rsv and v2 but honestly i feel like they couldve been 1 game. i think v2 couldve been an expansion pack for rainbow six vegas. i do love the game and still play terrorist hunts and online.. but id like to see a longer story mode.
Ubisoft screwed up with graw2. Why would you stop success! No download . by xmas fans wll have found somethqng else!
i hope the next rainbow six has better guns and maps like the original rsv. rsv2 is fun but some maps are whack!i hope it is a creative ew game. and i also hope they come out with more map packs for rsv2 and the new rainbow.
