I was wandering around the Zangamarsh after leveling to 62 on my main hunter and I thought to myself I wonder how many hours of my life I have invested into this game? The answer was fairly easy to achieve since in the game you can type /played and display all of the time you have played, which is both pretty coool and almost sad when you see just how much time you have spent in the World of Warcraft.
Any guess how many hours I have spent playing?

So the grand total flashed before my eyes and I was more than surprised, I had spent a total of 26 days playing WoW! Yes days! Almost an entire month playing one game and now I have decided to pick this p again for Wrath of Lich King? What have I done? To think that I don’t really consider myself a hardcore WoW player and I spent a little less than a month playing in game, I wonder how many hours the more avid WOW players have logged?
I am curious how many hours of my life have been spent on gaming in general? I would imagine that at least a years worth of time would probably make sense. How many hours have you spent playing WoW?

Write a Comment»My /played just on my Main toon (70 dwarf hunter named Squirrel on Burning Legion)… 202 days. that is 24 hour days too, so yeah, that is a long ass time. That is also with me taking 4 six month breaks since retail release in nov. ‘04.
I will be playing Wrath too, but very light. I have too much work and cant afford getting re-addicted to WoW again haha.
My Horde paladin has 100 days played and i havent played in 6 months and i also took 6 months off ealier in the expansion. On a side note 26 days played to level 62? damn lol. I have about 10 people already pestering me to come back for the xpac but im thinking i will stay away. WoW is just way to repetative for me now but theres no other mmorpg’s that have grabbed my interest and WHO is basically WOW. Im not addicted to wow but im addicted to the people i play with lol. Ventrilo is the shit and without it i would of never played near as much wow
I’m glade I never got into Wow but I do keep myself from being consumed by gaming.
