So we’re going to get a true online multiplayer game for the Wii that people actually want to play (come on, did you really want to play Pokemon?). Mario Strikers: Charged will offer up to 4 player matched online, both ranked and unranked, as well as leaderboards.

The game will be released May 25 in Europe, with no official release date for the US yet. I would expect shortly after that.

Now if Nintendo would only do something about those insanely stupid friend codes…
