While listening to Major Nelson’s Podcast (a show any Xbox 360 fan should listen to), my super-sensitive ears came across a comment that although mentioned very causally, certainly carries many implications. During Larry’s interview with Andre, he questioned him about games that are prettier than Gears (being that Andre sees the 360 portfolio for the next 18-24 months, he would be the one to know) he says yes and then changes the subject so that he won’t get fired. Obviously this gives us something more to look for, but whats really interesting is that it looks like he has seen this while visiting China. I don’t know of many studios that are from out there, but I plan on investigating and maybe coming up with some ideas of games that may be bigger than Gears coming from the far East!! Do you guys have any ideas of studios out there and what game do you think he may have been referring to?
