There have been reports that the new downloadable content for Crackdown on the Xbox360 have been deleting saved games. Nevertheless, the game designers at Crackdown have devised a foolproof way to make sure that this does not happen.
- Sign-in to Xbox Live
- Start Crackdown and receive new Title Update (if you haven’t already)
- Begin a Single Player Campaign game
- Once loaded, press Start and choose “Quit”
- Reboot Crackdown (soft reboot or hard reboot of console)

My friend had his whole game erased because of this. In my opinion, they should help to compensate instead of just shrugging it off. I know that many people devoted time into this game to find all the orbs or stuff like that, and now it has been taken away. In my opinion, they should look at your gamertag, and if you have completed “X” eg. max out your agent, they should give you a “code” that lets you download a saved game that has a maxed out agent on it or something, so that we don’t have to waste time leveling up again.
