This is a great boxing game, the only true simulation boxing game if you will. Other boxing games have been fun but they typically turn into a button mashing contest to see who can punch who the most in the face. Fight Night negates that in a few ways.

They have developed ways to block punches, counter punches, and you get fatigued if you start throwing haymakers left and right. In a nut shell it makes you think like a real boxer� ok he has a cut over his left eye, if I keep jabbing at it maybe the referee will stop the fight.

The game offline is not very challenging but the real game takes it into high gear online, here is where you will be challenged to throw like a pro or get wrecked like a chump. One punch can change the dynamic of a fight, one fighter can be dominating and then his opponent lands a well placed kidney punch that drops him.

Haymakers are strong but telegraphed, I have found that dodging is effective, but if you really want to break a man�s spirit master the art of blocking punches! After a successful block you get a split second to land a nice hard shot, a few of these and your opponent will run home and want to be breast fed.
