Hope all of our US readers have a great Labor Day. If you’re unaware of the holiday, basically it’s always help on the first Monday of September as a celebration for the working men and women of the country. Pretty much everything (except retail) closes on Labor Day.

Enjoy the BBQ’s, fireworks, end of summer goodness, and whatever else you have going on.

Yes after 350 hours of playing Phantasy Star Universe on the Xbox 360 I have called it quits. The lack of time on my part to play and review other titles coupled with the lack of major content in the game until the holidays has made me pull the plug. On the bright side I save $10 a month, but I will miss logging in my character and killing some mobs, R.I.P. Musashi, until they release a newer better version.

The Xbox Pro and Elite 360 bundle has been discovered by kotaku recently. The bundle seems to have 2 “free” games which appear to be Forza Motorsport and Marvel Ultimate Alliance. The bundle will also include all of the accessories that an pro/elite should have. The price on these is not yet known, but should be discounted for it would not make much sense to charge full price for games that could very well sell on their own.

During E3 Microsoft Void Star Creations announced announced another title in their Xbox Live Arcade lineup, Poker Smash. Poker Sash is to be another puzzle game that will be available by the holidays and boasts having:

Innovative gameplay allows players to experience six unique game modes including action, puzzle, practice, theme playlist, split screen head-to-head and multiplayer tournaments.

I like the ever expanding lineup on the Arcade and think this spin on Poker and puzzles may prove to be interesting, we will keep our eyes peeled for more on this one.

Just want to wish all of our readers in the US a Happy 4th of July!

Get out there, BBQ up some hot dogs and burgers (or whatever your choice of BBQ food may be) and have a grand old time.

For those of you outside the US, have a happy Wednesday while we celebrate our Independence Day
