Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars is the latest installment in the popular and cult followed RTS series for the Xbox360. This game requires quick reflexes and even quicker decision making to ensure the victory of one of the three very different sides you can be which range from the militaristic GDI, the extremist NOD, and even an alien race, Scain, that seems eerily familiar to the covenant.
Presentation and Graphics: The menus are very user friendly and have a nice montage in the background of in game fighting. The graphics are superb and support both 720 and 1080i resolution on your HDTV. On regular TV, they look like a very good current gen game or a pedestrian next gen game, but its clearly meant to be seen and played on a big screen. There is also a zoom function that allows and up close and personal view of the massive ground and air combat. 4 of 5
Sound and Music: This game really excels in the sound department. Each function has its own voice acting as well as the sounds of each structure being built. Every time you select a battle group, a conformation is heard as well as the sounds of bullets and rockets and God knows what else hitting anything in its path. The game is very minimalistic and fine detail has been used for the vast difference in weapons that are created. Each race has very different battle machines and this is apparent in the sounds that they make. There is also some very cool menu music akin to GRAW 2 complete with the ominous drum beats. 4 of 5
