Many argue if video games can be addictive or not, I for one think not, you won’t catch me turning tricks on the corner to score a game of Mario. (at least not yet) But there are those that argue that the act of playing video games takes the place of normal life, this video shows different perspectives. I personally agree with the view of an individual having an addictive personallity and that being the reason they get so drawn into gaming.
So please: Game safely, friends don’t let friends game irresponsibly!

I am new to the gaming world but I do know that anything that creates a sense of euphoria can be addicting. The stronger the euphoria, the higher the possibility of addiction. No matter what it is…to some it make be crack, cocaine, etc. to others it may be gambling, food, sex and even gaming. The weird thing is that no matter what the addiction is, it all seems to stimulate the dopamine receptors in the brain. Dopamine affects brain processes that control movement, emotional response, and ability to experience pleasure as well as pain. Just a little food for thought!
