During a recent Shooty/Snipers match in Halo 3, which I have already played over 130 ranked matches something interesting occurred, I scored my first ever double headshot with the human sniper rifle. It was an interesting game since two players from both teams were dropped out of the match, making it a 2v2 team slayer match on The Pit.

I am not the best sniper user out there so I was already unhappy with the game type, but we played on and won. The icing on the cake was the double headshot to take the lead, too bad that isn’t an achievement! I quickly ran to the theater to record the clip and take some screenshots for bragging rights. I have to say that the theater function is pretty cool and let’s you take clips from a whole match as well as screenshots from different perspectives.

Well here is what a double sniper headshot looks like, you can see my name in the distance.

For a zoomed in shot hit the jump.

Here is a nice close up of two guys getting their heads taken off! I like the blood splatter effect, this one is definitely for the scrapbook. If anyone would like the short 15 second video just shoot me an email and I can send it over. (Unfortunately I can’t post up the movie itself)
