EA has recently released the demos for NBA Street - Home Court and Def Jam - Icon this week on the Xbox Live Marketplace. I got a chance to download both and play around with them and let me say I am not impressed by either. NBA Street felt the same as any other one I had played over the years and didn’t offer much in improvements other than pretty graphics to warrant a full purchase. Def Jam - Icon gave me the same impression, same old hat with no feather in it, yeah you play as Big Boi and you smack T.I. Up but it wasn’t impressive other than again nice character models. The graphics in Def Jam actually are not as impressive, as the background when damaged looks horrible, like the Escalade that sites in the gas station, when damaged looks retarded. I liked the fact the two demos went p but they did not make me a believer in the finished product, maybe time will tell for these two titles.
