Burnout Paradise Vid

This game is on the top of my list of titles to get, I always had a soft spot for Burnout and its crashbreakers. Graphically looks pretty good, but I wonder what they are adding to this game to set it apart from the other Burnout Series?

Burnout Paradise Vid

The burnout series has always been one of my favorites and Burnout Takedown was a great time on my original Xbox, but when it got ported to the Xbox 360 it was about the same, so I am very eager to see more about Burnout Paradise. The crashes look incredible and I hope the sense of speed is still there.

SIXAXIS Image

Ruh Roh Raggy. I don’t think Sony is going to be happy by this one. EA accidentally spilled the beans on a rumbling SIXAXIS for the PS3. Not being talking about it, but by allowing people to play Burnout Paradise with the new controller.

According to IGN, the new controller is heavier with a sticker on the bottom which says “RUMBLE”. No word on this being the final design.

Expect an official announcement from Sony tomorrow at their press event.

BurnoutEA today announced that their classic road rage car racer is coming to a mobile phone near you this August. I am excitted about this new mobile title being developed as all the console games and handheld titles have been great. Having the Burnout mayhem on my handheld will be great for waiting in lines.

From the press release:

Burnout has been tailor made for the mobile platform delivering speed, destruction and chaos never seen before on mobile. Fans of the franchise will be pleased to see features they enjoy from the console version of the game included but will also be delighted with new game modes exclusive to the mobile platform. Expect to see takedowns, supercharged boosts and much more, all taking place at break neck speed on your mobile phone.

Forza ShotSo with all the hype comes great scrutiny and we here at Loot Ninja are no different, we take Forza, flip up it’s hood and poke around until satisfied.

Presentation and Graphics: The game supports 720p graphics, which looked very crisp on a high definition display. The game runs at 60 fps, which is impressive, but unfortunately does suffer from some jaggies like the demo. (but this can be overlooked when you look at the beautiful backgrounds) The presentation of the game is terrific and the car editor functions are outstanding. You can fully customize any car in the game from aerodynamics to engine to pure paint job. I also like that your current car is displayed in the main menus as you choose races. Forza 2 does great as far as presentation goes. 4.5 of 5

Sound and Music: The music in Forza is decent, but I typically just mute the soundtrack, plug in my iPod and turn up the FX sounds. Nothing beats a nice engine rev in 5.1 surround sound with a little bit of Jay Z going in the background. You can actually here the fans cheer as you rev by them. 4 of 5

From the press release:
