Major Nelson reports that Sony decided they wanted to steal a Project Gotham Racing 3 image as a background picture for a Gran Turismo HD video download for PSP. Yeah, ummm, this could be one of the dumbest things I’ve seen Sony do in a while. The image is CLEARLY from PGR3. Major posted a […]

I have been using www.gamefly.com now for about 6 months and I have to say I have been very pleased. Games arrive on time and in good shape, although you are safer getting newer releases as these have not been manhandled yet by other humans. They recently had a sale for used games so I […]

So now that 2006 has come to an end, I figure it’s time to pick my game of the year. This year was a tough pick. There’s 4 games all close to that number 1 spot. You’ve got Zelda for Wii, Guitar Hero 2 for PS2, and Final Fantasy XII for PS2 that all […]

So today I downloaded Crash Bandicoot from the PlayStation Store on my PS3. I figured it’s a great game and to be able to play it on the road for $5.99 is a steal. So I go to download it. Here’s my impressions…
First, I LOVE the fact that you can add a custom amount of […]

If you have both a PS3 and a PSP, you can now download PS1 games from the PlayStation Store to play on your PSP. I, personally, have been waiting a LONG time for this functionality and I’m delighted it’s here. There are five games available now: Cool Boarders, Crash Bandicoot, Hot Shots Golf 2, Syphon […]

So I spent my 6 hour flight to Vegas playing my PSP ans DS Lite. Southwest doesn’t show any movies, so it was all gaming and listening to podcasts. I played a ton of Elite Beat Agents and Loco Roco. Both are insanely fun. The music in Elite Beat Agents is terrific. There’s a good […]

Sony released the PSP Firmware v3.0 today. It’s not yet available to download from the site, but you can get it through the Network Update feature on the PSP. I downloaded, but can’t install because the battery isn’t fully charged. Among other things, it allows for playing PS1 games downloading the PlayStation Store using the […]

So Kotaku posted on the PSP firmware 3.0 manual which was released online. They talked about needing a PS3 to play PS1 games on your PSP. Yeah, I know, a lot of fucking acronyms. What they didn’t mention, and what really struck me, is that you need a 60GB PS3 to be able to use […]

I picked up Lumines II for PSP while I was away this weekend too. For $29.99, it’s well worth it, much more than the 360 version. You have every mode plus a couple more than the Xbox Live Arcade version, plus you can do WiFi multiplayer action. If your friend with a PSP doesn’t have […]
