Many have asked where are the Wii games?

Big cup of STFUNintendo is replying – here they are, now shut up!
This is a huge list of games that will put the library of Wii titles close to 150 (not counting Virtual Console games) and the DS titles close to 450.

I thnk Nintendo really wants to show everyone that not only Nintendo developed games are scheduled ot hit the console but also a lot of third party games as well, many have speculated that third party developers would shy away from the unique controls.

Here is the all encompassing list of games scheduled to come out for the Wii and the DS until the first quarter of next year.

Oct. 1: Dragon Blade: Wrath of Fire(TM) from D3Publisher of America

Three New NeoGeo Games Added to Nintendo Wii

fierce Scuba | 2 Comments

wii-points.jpgNintendo is adding NeoGeo games from the defunct import console that cost almost 600 dollars upon release. Here is a list of the three new games and a little description of each.

Fatal Fury for 900 Wii points:

Released in 1991 and one of the longest-running series in the fighting-game genre, this title introduced players to Terry Bogard, Andy Bogard and Joe Higashi. Select one of the three and visit many locations as your chosen fighter engages in numerous street fights around the fictional city of South Town. If you’re good enough, you’ll eventually take on Billy Kane and then his boss, the notorious crime lord Geese Howard. Use each fighter’s own finishing maneuver and battle in two different planes on the screen, one in the foreground and the other farther away in the background. The game also features a two-player mode that is well known for its unique setup, which allows fighters to both fight and help each other. Do you have what it takes to win the King of Fighters tournament?

wii.jpgAs the Xbox 360 and PS3 begin to distance themselves from the Wii, Nintendo has tried to make their system as marketable as possible as they continue to add more and more games to their virtual console list. They have just added NEOGEO games; the same system that none of us could afford. Here is the official press release:

The retro hits just keep coming with Wii’s Virtual Console with over 140 titles currently available to download. Soon Wii owners will be able to re-experience the greatest arcade games of the 90s with a selection of releases from the NEOGEO. Hudson Soft sent out a press release to let us know the Wii Virtual Console will see downloadable titles from the Super CD and Turbo CD platforms in October. Each title will come in at 800 Wii Points ($8 US), with an expected 5 or more titles in 2007 and 10 or more titles in 2008.

Hudson Soft Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Hidetoshi Endo) is pleased to announce that Turbo CD and Super CD game software will be available for download via the Virtual Console™ feature on Nintendo’s Wii™. Wii owners with a high-speed Internet connection can redeem Wii Points™ to download these classic games through the Wii Shop Channel. Soon, Wii™ owners will be able to enjoy even more software titles previously released on other platforms. These titles will be available for download beginning in October of this year in Japan, and thereafter will extend to North America, Europe and Australia. Now Wii™ gamers will be able to play games originally created specifically for CD-ROM media, in addition to TurboGrafx-16 game titles already available via Virtual Console™.
