We don’t know if the gamer above is poor and in college, not having the means to purchase a bigger TV. The giveaway? A lawn chair inside and cheap Wal-mart furniture. Plus, he looks like a stoned-out frat dude.
It’s our weekly musing into the busy lives of our very loyal Loot Ninja readers. For most of the working folk out there it’s the end of another shitty work week. For us gamers our week is just getting started (glorious weekend gaming time).
Loot Ninja wants to give you the opportunity to sound off on all of the great games you’re playing at the moment. Did you just get a new game wrapped in cellophane? Are you in the middle of something right now – (still enjoying L.A. Noire and Dirt 3?) – or are you trying to finish off a title and start on your next great adventure? Loot Ninja wants to know!
I’ve been immersed in the world of 1940′s Los Angeles and L.A. Noire. So far I’m digging the game a whole lot, but it’s not the “over-the-moon” game certain gaming press have made it out to be. Cole is hard to handle while running, you have to get every, single, clue in order to move on (I’ve looked around for 45 minutes stuck in limbo, restarted the case all over and finally had to look at a walkthrough to figure out I needed to go to this one tree and look at bootprints and cigarettes). The shooting mechanics need some work (especially in tight quarters or hallways) but I know that the shooting isn’t the bread and butter of the game: it’s the interrogation and investigation that is.
I’ve been hella busy at work (so has Matt and Steve) and sorry we haven’t been posting as many articles as I we would like to this week. Hopefully this shit gets ironed out over the long Memorial Day weekend, I have more slack-off time at work, and someone gets fired at Matt’s job. You guys buying anything cool at all of the Weekend sales? I know I was looking at Guitar Center’s sales to buy a cool guitar to jam on, but other than that, I look forward to cleaning my house out this week. Fun. Fucking. Stuff. I’ll get in a few cases of L.A. Noire for good measure, but that’s about it for me this week. What the hell have you guys been up to and been playing over the last week? Be sure to let me know what you’re gaming on in the comments…..

LA Noire doesnt appeal to me I fell for the hype train with GTA games, RDR was good but nothing like I wanted. So this weekend I’m going with games on my shelf. Maybe Demons Souls maybe Yakuza or maybe just watching some Netflix trying to catch up. I really can’t wait for E3 to see what is coming next.
Halo reach! It’s too good for words. Infection is my playlist of choice.
