Want to get your Kinect on, but haven’t had enough accessories? Thanks to today’s partnership between Twisted Pixel and Home Depot, your prayers have been answered. The Gunstringer Marionette Handle Controller will give you a real life feel for being a marionette. This is what we’ve all been dreaming to have. From the press release:
“This groundbreaking partnership with Home Depot truly ushers in a new era of controller-free controller gaming” said Mike Wilford, CEO of Twisted Pixel Games and member of Home Depot’s Home Improver Club. “When Barry from Home Depot’s lumber section told me about the ‘rustic flair’ and ‘attractive wood grain’, I knew instantly that we had to get these rods into the hands of marionette aficionados everywhere”.
Sometimes, it’s as simple as holding a wooden dowel to really give you the immersion you’ve been looking for. If you need to get the action today, The Gunstringeris now available from all 2,244 Home Depot stores for $2.17 MSRP and can be ordered online.
Yes people, we know today’s date. We know this isn’t real. But damn it’s funny. I give kudos to Twisted Pixel for having the coolest April Fools press release of the morning.
