If you’re looking for some dates, you might want to pencil in March 15 and most of the month of April. Microsoft dropped news yesterday for some of their bigger franchises. The Gears of War 3 Beta is going to begin in mid-April for those of you who got the Bulletstorm Epic Edition and the Halo: Reach Defiant Map Pack will hit on March 15 for 800 Microsoft Points.
I’m all over the Reach map pack. I’ve always loved Halo multiplayer and haven’t played in a while, but have been meaning to hop back in. Might as well grab the new maps and run around with the Needler. As for Gears 3, I haven’t bought Bulletstorm (and I’m not sure if I will), so I’m hoping Microsoft hooks us up with some Beta codes.
Either way, Microsoft has some big things in the works. 2011 is packed from end to end with quality gaming content.
