IGN exclusively revealed the final boss in Marvel vs. Capcom 3 yesterday. Galactus is set to end your world. Considering the game’s subtitle is “Fate of Two Worlds”, the choice of the world-ender makes sense. Those of you familiar with the Fantastic Four will recognize Galactus and his Silver Surfer-like spawns.
The boss battle starts with two Silver Surfer-like heralds, one like Dr. Doom, one like Dormammu, that you have to fight simultaneously. Thankfully they share a health bar, but it’s still a solid task. Once that’s over, you get the big daddy himself. Sporting a monster health bar and ultra cheap special moves that can knock you with up to 200-hit combos, you better have a good bit of health remaining to take him down.
Capcom always throws out epic, cheap boss battles and this looks to be no exception. I hope you plan on slamming a few controllers, especially on the higher difficulties. I can’t wait to whoop some Galactus ass next week.
