THQ Rolls a New Logo, Redefines Itself

In an effort to get more 21st century, THQ has decided to ditch their old serif-font logo for a new curvy sans-serif edition. In a statement, Brian Farrell, THQ President and CEO, had this to say:

Our new logo epitomizes the change, innovation and creative grown that are the cornerstones of the new THQ. By developing triple-A, innovative, original intellectual properties, attracting the top talent in the industry, and placing that talent first, THQ continues to redefine itself. This new logo seeks to capture that change and make it tangible.

I feel ya, Mr. Farrell. THQ has been driving some solid games and sales lately and is poised to make a bigger move in the industry with Homefront, so a new logo fits in with the new image they’re portraying. I’m a fan — what about you?

That logo DOES NOT embody what Brian Farrell is describing in what his logo stands for. I like the old logo much better THQ is a GREAT company but the new logo looks like it belongs at the bottom of an action figure box. I would love to re-design this logo for free.
