EA MMA was released today. The UFC President Dana White has repeatedly said that any fighter who wants to ever fight in his organization should not be in that game. Well, it looks like that monopoly goes on for another 7 years. THQ has locked down sole rights to UFC’s namesake, roster, fighters, etc for almost the rest of the decade. The same way EA has the NFL and 2K has MLB on Xbox 360, the gamers are limited by these agreements once again.

We’re all going to die in 2012 anyway, so past that is all gravy.
