How Our Comment System Works

See! I’m sure that guy knows how to post comments too, but we just caught him looking at Brazilian fart porn.

I don’t really know if this has been said before, but it might be a good time to lift the curtain on the Loot Ninja site and let all of you guys/gals see up our skirts. No really, go ahead and look. You know you want to.

You constantly see those little comment boxes down at the bottom of each post we do. What are they for? What do you do with them!? Well guess what? Here’s a walkthrough on how to use them, because we all know gamers just LOVE walkthroughs.

We have some guidelines that I’ll go over next, but for right now, we’ll just concern ourselves with actually making a comment. First, you’ll want to fill out all of your information. Your nickname or screenname goes into the top field, and then under that is your e-mail address. Don’t worry, we won’t ever give out your e-mail address to anyone for any reason, and we most certainly will not spam you ever. We mostly use this information for giveaways and whatnot so we can send you gifts and shit.

Your nickname at the top of the form is your calling card. This is what other gamers will remember your epicness by, so please make sure to keep it the same if you want to have an ongoing conversation with us or fellow gamers. Please don’t give yourself the nicknames “100% Herbal Genko Supplement” or “Olovo Pharmacy Technician” or even “Get Free Download Codes”. We flag those as spam and delete them immediately. My apologies do go out to Olovo P. Technician for deleting all of your comments. My bad. I didn’t know you were a real dude.

Next, just make your comment in the box below all of that. And make it good! I really can’t tell you what to put in here. Maybe, “I want your body Loot Ninja!” or “Me love you long time Justin! Sucky sucky 5 dollas!” That would be great. We are pretty complacent about editing comments and usually allow all sorts of shit in them. This is America. We do believe in free speech, but don’t go popping off a bunch of hate followed by the “N” word four hundred times. That’s not cool. If it’s inflammatory and over the top, we’ll just delete it.

After that, you’re comment will go through a bunch of magical internet circuit boards and come stamped out on the other side. If it passes the internet gnomes’ inspection, it will be posted immediately. If you haven’t posted before and include a lot of weird characters or try to include a link in your comment, it will get flagged as “questionable” and need to be looked over by one of our handy dandy Loot Ninja staffers. We’re usually on top of the inspecting throughout the day monitoring incoming comments, but sometimes we won’t get to it right away or you just missed us. We apologize for this, but want you guys to know that we will do everything we can to not hold up the gaming conversations.

It’s because of you guys that we have an awesome site here on Loot Ninja. We appreciate everything that you do for us (we know its not much) here on the webpage. We still appreciate all of the comments you guys make. Everytime you do this it’s like a “tip of the cap” (even if you hate our article) to us. I like to think of our pairing as a good soup. The writers here at Loot Ninja are the liquid in the bowl. The content if you will. You guys are the great flavorful bits of meat, potatoes and seasonings that go in it. Sure, we could just have plain old tomato soup, but where would the fun in that be? Damn, now I’m hungry and I want taco soup.
