BackBreaker On the Field Trailer

I’m skeptical that BackBreaker will be either a commercial or critical success. Sure, the NaturalMotion engine makes for extremely life-like animations, movement, and tackles, but not having the NFL license is going to hinder the sales of the game. All Pro Football from 2K didn’t do all that well and it was based on the terrific 2K Football base, but that doesn’t stop 505 Games from wanting to make this the most realistic football you’ve seen.

This game really does intrigue me as a game for football. I sometimes love the underpinnings and architecture of a game more so than the graphics. Games like Portal or Braid come to mind. I'd rather watch this game without NFL licenses vs. watching canned responses over and over again in Madden.
