It was just recently announced that the upcoming (and mysterious) game release for Frank Miller’s Sin City is going to be powered by Epic’s Unreal 3 engine. HellsFrigginYeah!!
Glenn Wong, President and COO for Red Mile Entertainment has said that “The Unreal Engine is one of the most technically advanced engines on the market and is a perfect fit for our Sin City video games,”and that “The engine has powered several of the best-selling games of all time and I am very glad we have the opportunity to arm our developers with such a world-class product.”
Vice president of Epic Games, Inc. Mark Rein: “We’re extremely excited to be working with Red Mile. We have been Frank Miller / Sin City fans for a long time and are pleased that our technology will be a key factor, and we’re confident that they’re going to make a great game with it.”
I personally can’t wait to see what what the game plays like. I also hope that it doesn’t fall into the ‘crappy movie-to-game translation’ trap. For that would be such a waste of incredible potential. Don’t you think?
We’ll let you know any further info as it becomes available. A release later in ‘08 would be nice. Anyways.
Durka.

i wonder if this will be a good game or not..?
atleast they aren’t trying to rush it out the door to match with the release date of the movie… otherwise that would be immpossible.
I hope you get to kill the yellow molester villain. I hate oft colored sex offenders.
