XBL has been pretty clear that they don’t like cheating. For some reason, people are still so hard for achievements that they risk being reset to zero for a few gamerscore points for the hard to get milestones. Major Nelson dropped some knowledge on us recently about the upcoming beat down:
Deliberate cheats like these are in direct violation of the Xbox LIVE Terms of Use and will not be tolerated. As I post this, we’ve begun taking steps to reset the Gamerscores of the offending players.
I could see if you had to cheat on your Spanish quiz because you didn’t study or cheat at strip poker to get some girls topless, but cheating at gamerscore? Making us all look bad there d-bag.
The more things change, the more things stay the same. Halo 3 remains the top dog on the Live charts for third consecutive week. Love it or Hate it, people still play the shit out of Halo 3. Big ups to the awesome UFC demo for making an appearance. If the full version is as good as I think it will be, expect UFC to make a lot of noise.

Halo 3 remains the top dog in Xbox 360 land marking to straight weeks on top. There is little else that has changed with the CoD dynamic duo in 2nd and 3rd place. People are still playing a ton of RE5 despite mixed feelings.

The next time you sign into Xbox Live, you are going to have to download the latest system update. There is nothing new here, just some behind the scenes work on fixing some connection issues to a few games. It’ll take all of 5 minutes. Its mandatory, so this is more of a heads up than anything.
No changes of note this week as CoD:WaW holds onto the top spot as its Map Pack 1 sold a million copies in a week. Its only a week until Mythic Map Pack drops on us, so expect a possible coup in 2 weeks on the charts.

We have a new winner this week breaking Halo 3’s mini-streak on top. Logic would tell you that this has to do with the new map pack just released for CoD: WaW. Expect Halo 3 to resume its top spot when Mythic drops on us April 9. Resident Evil 5 has also moved up several spots as well. What happened to Rock Band?

We have a new champion this week. The Chief is back on top. Halo 3 regains its top position on the charts, probably with people getting back into Halo with Halo Wars and the availability of the Mythic Map Pack with the LE. How long will Halo 3 stay on top? Perhaps until some CoD: WaW gets some DLC. I hear some free stuff is on the way. Not much else changes in the top 10, but this is big.
