If you have any questions about the upcoming monster title, watch this. The game was feared to be lame, watered down, and a hackneyed attempt at cashing in on a dying franchise. Nope. This game is looking better everytime I hear or see something new about it. No word on Aquaman as of right now. It’s not looking good for the Butters of the Superfriends.
I really want to rip the head off of Aquaman, I just may get my chance this fall when Worlds Collide. People have stressed that the T rating will dull down some of the franchise’s trademark violence, so we will have to hope that the gameplay makes up for it.
We all thought it was fanboy wet dream stuff. No way would a game like this ever happen. This is one of those rare instances in gaming where we are all surprised. This fall, you will be able to pit some of the greatest MK fighters versus some of the most beloved DC heroes. The storyline is still secretive, but the fate of the universe will be decided when these juggernauts meet. Here are some of the details we know right now.
Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Batman and Superman are all confirmed with much more to be added.
There will be finishers, but not so much fatalities. I’m eager to see how this works, but you will probably be able to put the other fighters into comas, but not kill them outright.
The levels will be multi-tiered as seen in the trailer. This will be an important piece of the fighting mechanic.
Expect torn clothes, bruises, and all kinds of visible damage on the fighters as they beat the shit out of each other.
Worlds Collide this fall. Much more to come as soon as we hear more details.
