I knew that Kiefer Sutherland was casting his voice to the new Call of Duty game but I have to admit that I was surprised to hear that Gary Oldman was in it also. So it looks like Call of Duty 5 will have Jack Bauer and Syrius Black, not a bad duo to have yelling during your gaming experience. I may get this game just to hear Kiefer yell at me during battles while blowing things up, watch as both actors put their all into these lines and really deliver some fierce dialogue.
I just want Gary Oldman to yell out “Bring Everyone!”. Name what movie that line is from for bonus points.
The elusive Call Of Duty: World at War beta showed up in my email yesterday and like the other 40,000 or so gamers that received the beta codes, I ran out and downloaded it as soon as I could. After redeeming my code and downloading the 890 MB file, I was greeted to a welcome screen that stated the following:
Welcome! The Online Multiplayer Beta is a sneak peak at the Call of Duty: World at War multiplayer experience. This Beta contains a few early versions of the maps, modes, and features of the full game. have fun and we’ll see you online.

Call of Duty 5 World at War is under a lot if heat since it is trying to follow in the footsteps of a great title like COD4 Modern Warfare and after watching the trailer I think the heat is justified. Yes the trailer looks nice, but as I watched it all I could think about was when I played on my launch Xbox 360 Call of Duty 2. The look and feel are very similar to COD 2, which is a shame, I thought they would try to do more with the game, but instead it looks to be falling into a bad pattern of one good game followed by one crappy one. COD 2 good, COD 3 bad, COD 4 good, COD 5 bad.
Is this the best looking WWII game I have ever seen? Yes. Am I insanely disappointed that this is a WWII game? Absolutely. I can’t get excited to shoot weapons that are almost 70 years old. I’m looking forward to COD6.
